The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission’s (GCRPC) Economic Development, Recovery, and Resilience (EDR) Department, administers and maintains the region’s federal designation as an Economic Development District (EDD) on behalf of the seven counties of the Golden Crescent Region.

To design, maintain, grow, and market a resilient and sustainable regional economy.
Mission
To provide administrative and operational support for the design, coordination, facilitation, enhancement, and/or provision of planning and decision-making capacity through Regional Economic Development Advisory Committee (REDAC) activities, technical assistance, and technology.

- Anticipated award announcement date is September 30, 2023.
- Program funding level is estimated at $31 million this year.
- Award amounts: Maximum Planning Grant - $75,000; Maximum Working Capital Grant -$250,000.
- All applications must include the statutory 1:1 match to be eligible.
