Formed in 1968, The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission (GCRPC) is a voluntary association of local governments and special districts within the seven-county Golden Crescent region encompassing Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, and Victoria counties.

Regional AnnouncementsCall for Projects – FY 2027/2028 Statewide Emergency Radio Infrastructure (SERI) Grant
The Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission (GCRPC) is now accepting project proposals for the FY27/28 Statewide Emergency Radio Infrastructure (SERI) Grant Program. The SERI Grant, administered by the Texas Office of the Governor, is designed to strengthen regional interoperability and improve emergency radio communications infrastructure. Only Councils of Government (COGs) and state agencies are eligible to apply directly, with local projects submitted through regional coordination. We encourage all eligible entities to participate in this upcoming cycle. Important Dates

Victoria Transit and GC Transit will not operate public transportation services on Monday, April 7, 2025, due to mandatory staff training. This closure applies ONLY to services within Victoria and DeWitt County.
