Texas Veterans Commission Elder Care Services
Through the Texas Veterans Commission Elder Care Services program, Aging & Community Services helps eligible veterans, dependents, and surviving spouses remain safely and independently in their homes. Services may include in-home care, housekeeping and meal preparation, assistive technology, and transportation to medical appointments or for medication retrieval.
This program is supported by a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance provides grants to organizations serving veterans and their families. For more information, visit www.tvc.texas.gov.

Senior Medicare Patrol
Senior Medicare Patrols (SMPs) empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education. SMPs are grant-funded projects of the federal U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL).

Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid USA is an evidence-based training that teaches participants how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, respond appropriately, and connect individuals with appropriate support and resources.

Linking Lives
A Journey to Wellness is a welcoming, in-person three-week workshop designed for adults 60 and older. Together, we'll explore social isolation, discover ways to strengthen connections, and develop a practical plan for staying socially connected.
