Low-Income Subsidy and Medicare Savings Programs

The Medicare Savings Programs (MSP) and Low-Income Subsidy (LIS/Extra Help) provide financial assistance to eligible Medicare beneficiaries by helping reduce or cover costs such as premiums, deductibles, and prescription medications. These programs can make healthcare significantly more affordable for individuals with limited income and resources. The ADRC can help you understand your options and offers free, confidential assistance with completing and submitting applications for both MSP and LIS.

Do you, or someone you know, need help with medicare costs?

To qualify for the Medicare Savings Program, you must meet certain income and asset requirements. Our knowledgeable team can guide you through the eligibility criteria and assist you with the application process. Resources cover their medicare costs.
