Aging & Community Services

The Regional Services team is responsible for a wide-range of activities designed to improve the quality of life at the community level.

Housing Navigation Services

The Golden Crescent ADRC’s Housing Navigation services strengthen partnerships throughout our region—bringing together local governments, housing authorities, developers, nonprofits, and community organizations to expand access to affordable and accessible housing. Our Housing Navigator collaborates with planners, service providers, and community coalitions to identify needs, share resources, and support the development of practical housing solutions that meet the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.

We promote housing that is integrated, ensuring that new and existing developments include opportunities for residents of all abilities and ages; accessible, designed to reduce physical barriers and support safe, independent living; and affordable, with options that do not exceed 30 percent of a household’s income. Through this collaborative, person-centered approach, our ADRC works to increase housing stability and empower individuals to remain connected to their communities.
