During the second week of April each year, we recognize the dedicated professionals who answer our emergency calls and serve as the first, first responders.

In observance of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission (GCRPC) will celebrate by visiting each Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) within the Golden Crescent region to personally thank our telecommunicators and provide appreciation gifts in recognition of their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to public safety.

Telecommunicators are the calm voice in moments of crisis — and we are proud to honor them for the lifesaving work they perform every day.
