Every two years, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) allocates funds generated by landfill tipping fees to the 24 councils of governments (COG) across Texas. We’re thrilled to announce that the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission (GCRPC) is allocating a portion of these funds towards local and regional Implementation Grants. To be considered, applicants must attend the Solid Waste Grant Application workshop on December 15, 2023. This workshop is mandatory for all new applicants, and we encourage others to attend as a refresher. There will be a virtual option available. Applications will be scored and ranked by our Regional Environmental Resources Advisory Committee (RERAC).
